Celebrating Oshogatsu at the Boston Children's Museum
New Year’s (Oshogatsu) was celebrated in the Japanese manner at the Boston Children’s Museum on Jan. 19.
Consulate staff brought materials for 120 kites and helped the children make them. In under two hours, all of the materials were gone. In the afternoon, the weather was good, so the children went outside and flew the kites.
